Note that the Big 12 Winner does not play in the playoff at all at this point the way our evaluation works out. The highest rank Big 12 team is still the BYU Cougars at #15, but they are not in the championship game, which features #20 Iowa State Cyclones vs #23 Arizona State Sun Devils.
