Final 2012 College Football Rankings

Well, the only thing the bowls proved is that we were right all along. The best two teams weren't playing each other in the championship game. It should have been Oregon vs. Alabama. And, after a couple of blowouts in their respective bowls, it's clear that Oregon and Alabama are the best two teams in the country. Which one had the better season? According to our analysis, even though because of who they lost to and when they lost to them, the Oregon Ducks are not the PAC-12 champions, they are the Baggaley National Champions once again. People talk about Alabama's "dynasty" but in the Baggaley rankings, there are two dynasties, as over the last four years, Alabama has been ranked #1 in the final rankings twice and Oregon has been ranked #1 twice.

How does this affect our program rankings and our historic rankings? We'll be updating all of that in the next couple of weeks.
