1950 College Football Final Rankings

In 1950, the Oklahoma Sooners were declared national champions before the bowl season. In those days, there was not an additional poll following the bowl games. However, Oklahoma lost to the Kentucky Wildcats in the Sugar Bowl. In our analysis, Kentucky actually had the best season in 1950 and should have been named national champions.
