The SEC has positioned itself well above the other conferences early in 2018. In our Week 5 analysis, the top four teams all come from the SEC, meaning five weeks in, they all have had better success than any other teams in the country. That would make quite a college football playoff. Of course, there is a lot of football left to go. Here are the rankings according to our analysis through week five:
