1958 College Football Final Rankings

In 1958, the AP and UPI polls crowned the LSU Tigers national champions (before the bowl games). The Football Writers' Association of America disagreed and (after the bowl games) awarded their national championship to the Iowa Hawkeyes (even though the Hawkeyes had lost one game and tied another). Our analysis respectfully disagrees with both.
