1933 College Football Final Rankings

1933 was the last year in which there was just one bowl - the Rose Bowl. In that game, Columbia beat Stanford 7-0. The various ranking systems split up their national titles between the Michigan Wolverines and the Princeton Tigers. Ironically, our analysis shows that the USC Trojans had the most successful season in 1933, despite losing to Stanford 13-7 and playing Oregon State to a scoreless tie.
