1925 College Football Final Rankings

After a short vacation, we're back with our historic rankings for 1925. In 1925, the Alabama Crimson Tide beat the Washington Huskies in the Rose Bowl by a single point. It was the first time a Southern team had been invited to play in the Rose Bowl - this was well before the tradition was established of having the PAC-10 champion face the Big Ten Champion. Both teams rate high in our ratings. In fact, our analysis shows that Alabama had the best season of any team in the nation.
