2014 College Football Rankings - Week 11

Ole Miss still remains #1 in our rankings with two losses. Oregon moves into our top four. And we still have to ask the final four selection committee how they can possibly not have Marshall ranked at all. Sure, they have not played anyone of any significance, but they have beaten everyone they've played handily. They haven't had a close game yet. And that's worth something. We can understand perhaps not including the Thundering Herd in the Top Four because of the weakness of their schedule, but to leave them out of the Top 25 completely? It really doesn't make sense, and smacks of collusion against the teams not included in a top-tier league, especially since our analysis continues to show the Thundering Herd as having a better season than Florida State, who seems to be included in the Top Four despite their own weak schedule because of their accomplishments a season ago and the name recognition associated with their storied past.
