2014 College Football Rankings - Week 7

What in the world do you do with Marshall? They've blown out everybody on their schedule, but their schedule is full of nobodies. If they continue this through the end of the season, don't they deserve an on-the-field shot to see if they are as good as any other undefeated or one-loss team? They're not just barely winning these games - they're blowing out these teams just like Ole Miss, Mississippi State, Auburn or Baylor would be expected to do.

Here are the week 7 rankings - it's fun to see the  rest of the nation come around to agree with things our analysis showed weeks ago ... that the Mississippi schools are for real this year.

Interesting observation: There are no PAC-12 or Big 10 schools in the Top Ten this week. And it's going to be hard for any of them to climb up there either. Could both of those conferences be left out of the playoff this year?
